President's Message - Cary Efurd -"My endeavor is to never live a day without enthusiasm and to always serve without thought of self."

Without a goal, a purpose and work, there is no success. In 2005, my wife, Debby and I opened the doors of Efurd Properties on purpose and with one goal in mind - to offer the DFW Metroplex with the most professional property management services possible by combining Enthusiastic Commitment, Extraordinary Integrity, and Exceptional Service.

Our company is now an established leader in the local and national residential property management industry. We combine old fashion values with the latest in technology to provide honest, fast, efficient service for the convenience of our owners and tenants alike. We apply the Golden Rule to every transaction. We put our clients first, treat their properties as our own, and always, always return our calls.

We are so committed to quality service first and foremost, that we have instituted a tempered approach to inventory growth. We don't promise the moon and then not deliver. That is why we limit the number of properties we accept into our inventory each month.  We will always insure that we have the infrastructure in place to support our services and the promises we make.

More about Cary Efurd:

I was born in Camp County, Pittsburg, Texas in the 1950's. I am the oldest of 4 brothers. I grew up on a working farm helping my family raise herds of cattle, thousands of peach trees and 10's of thousands of chickens. Picking up eggs that we sold commercially, feeding turkeys and slopping hogs was also on the list of daily chores. We also owned and operated a small feed mill used mainly for making feed for our own livestock and poultry, but we had outside feed customers, too. I was once a 12 year-old bulk truck driver who could barely see over the steering wheel, driving down farmed market roads delivering feed to neighbors and friends.

Now, I drive a Chevy pick up truck and haul around 'For Lease' signs. My pick up truck is the smoothest riding vehicle I have ever had, except for the old '91 Lincoln Towncar. It had some wear on it when I bought it. The passenger door wouldn't open so my wife would have to either crawl in from the driver's side or sit in the back seat. Most of the time she just wouldn't ride with me. The seats were cracked leather. The engine leaked oil, but not on the garage floor because I kept a piece of card board down that soaked it up. As they say, I more often checked the gas and filled up with oil. Still, the radio worked great, so did the tape deck, and the suspension on the old Lincoln gave it a fabulous ride. I always felt like I was floating down the highway when I was behind the wheel. It was a long car but had short turning ability which allowed me to make a u-turn in the middle of the street, without touching a curb. The beautiful old car had those square rounded type tail lights that dated it as I drove into the 21st century, but I didn't care because it was a very smooth riding automobile!
